Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura -Dades Gorges
The 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga starts with hotel pick up then we will drive via the High Atlas Mountains, we explore the Ouarzazate, and visit the Atlas film studios. We do not miss a visit to Taourirt Kasbah, we continue to Skoura and Kalaat M’gouna. We will spend a night in Dades Gorges with dinner at the local riad or hotel.
Day 2: Dades – Todra Valley – Desert – Merzouga
After breakfast our 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga continues and we get to Tineghir with it’s beautiful palm grove. We explore the Todgha Gorges, and enjoy a short trek along the canyons of about 300 m high. We continue to Tinijdad and Erfoud. Once you arrive in Merzouga we spot the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight in the desert hotel with dinner.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Camel Excursion
After breakfast, we explore the Sahara desert. We visit the Nomad Museum of Hassi Labied, then we listen to Khamlia musicians and we enjoy a 4×4 off-road drive around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will take a 2 hours camel ride to watch the desert sunset. You will spend the night in the bivouac in Merzouga camp. Enjoy dinner and night in Merzouga Sahara desert camp.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
The 5 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga continues and we wake up early, to see a magnificent sunrise. We will ride the camels, back to the hotel. We continue to Rissani, we visit the Trilobite centre at Alnif. We visit N’Qob and explore the palm groves of Draa Valley near Agdz. We stop in Ouarzazate to have dinner and spend a night in a local hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
On the last day of the 5 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga we travel to Taourirt Kasbah, then the local Atlas Film Studios and we drive to Ait Ben Haddou to visit Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou followed by travel to Telouet Kasbah. We continue through the High Atlas Mountains, toward Marrakech where our 5 days desert tour from Marrakech ends.
