Merzouga - Camel trek - Night at the desert camp

Merzouga camel trek is the most authentic way to explore the Merzouga desert by travelling on a traditional camel convoy. Camels will elegantly move across the Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes.

Our camel man will pick you up by camels from the village and the Merzouga camel ride begins by crossing the Sahara desert sand dunes. Later on, you will have a stop in the middle of the desert to enjoy a beautiful sunset and then continue the trip till you reach the desert camp, where you will have dinner, set up a campfire, and listen to Berber music by drums and spend the night in a private and equipped tent.

While your Merzouga camel ride journey, if you want to take photos feel free to ask your camel man, he will take lovely pictures for you with camels. This overnight camel ride in Merzouga event will offer you a unique experience to have an idea about how the previous generations used to live travelling by camels from one country to another, and also to gain knowledge about how locals in the area are living their life. In the morning after sunrise and having breakfast you will have two choices to go back to the village either by camels or by 4×4 and the Merzouga camel ride ends at your accommodation.
