Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez
During the first day of your 4 days trip from Tangier to Marrakech, we will pick you up at your hotel and start our route through the Rif mountains, passing by the city of Tetouan, enjoying the views of the beautiful mountains until we get to Chefchaouan, one of the breathtaking villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains, the Medina of Chefchaouen was a town of love and history, with a Spanish style square surrounded by many arts and crafts, funky stores, and blue houses, where we will have a walk before continuing the 4 days trip from Tangier to Marrakech to Fez, where we will spend the night in a Riad in the old Medina of Fez.
Day 2: Fez – Ifrane – Ziz valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, we follow our 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Ifrane and Azrou across the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the road, we will stop in the Cedar forest to see the Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat. Crossing the Tizi N’Talghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved in volcanic rock, you will see views of the Middle Atlas plateau and the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, where we will have lunch, then continue our 4 days trip from Tangier to Marrakech, through the Ziz valley arriving to Merzouga. After a break, we will make the dromedary ride crossing the dunes of Erg Chebbi until we reach the camp in the middle of the desert, where we will spend the night. After dinner, we will gather around a campfire and enjoy the traditional Berber music. The night will be spent in the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha gorges – Dades gorges
This day of the 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech is designed as follows; we will wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast in the desert camp, we will ride our camels back to the hotel to start our 4 days trip from Tangier to Marrakech. After breakfast we follow our 4 days trip from Tangier to Marrakech, we will drive through the Dades Valley to the Valley of Roses, Ouarzazate. The journey along the road of the Thousands Kasbahs; offers numerous opportunities to take pictures. We will visit the Valley of Roses and the village of Skoura, and then continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa”, and then explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
