Day 1: Ouarzazate to Dades Gorges
The 3-day Ouarzazate desert trip program will be as follows, depart from Ouarzazate in the morning. We visit the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, a historical fortress. Then, drive through the Skoura Oasis and see its lush palm groves.
Continue to the Valley of Roses (Kelaa Mgouna), known for its rose cultivation. Arrive at the Dades Gorges, a stunning rocky landscape. Explore the gorges and enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse in the Dades Gorges area.
Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, we start the 3 days tour from Ouarzazate to the Sahara Desert. Drive through the Todra Gorges and take a short hike in the area. Continue your journey to the village of Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Later on, we meet your camel caravan and embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset from the dunes. Then, Arrive at your desert camp, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night in traditional Berber tents.
Day 3: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara Desert. Return to Merzouga village on camelback. Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation. Begin your journey back to Ouarzazate. On the way, visit the ancient village of Rissani, known for its traditional souk. Drive through the Draa Valley, known for its palm oases and Kasbahs.
